Hi...
Just a note....the NT start up widow looks not quite right when running 2 monitors. Have the Control Center window on the second monitor, if that makes a difference.
Screen shot below...
Thanks...:)

Hi..
Tried the repair...said the tmp5.tmp file was missing and could not continue...did a search for that file and nothing turned up (this has happened before)...I recently reinstalled NT...
Monitor 1 is 1920X1080
Monitor 2 is 1280X1024
This initial startup window thing not a problem for me...just cosmetic...just thought you might like to know...
Thanks...

Hello Alfred,
Thank you for your reply.
Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader. With this procedure you will be starting with a clean installation of NinjaTrader and will need to recreate your workspaces, charts, etc.
Close all running applications.
Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 6.5 and click Remove.
Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 6.5" located under Start --> My Documents.
Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
Reboot your machine.
Once these steps are completed, download NT6.5 from the link below:
http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/download_current_users.htm
I have provided a link below to our Connection Guide to assist with recreating your connection.
http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_connectionguides.htm
Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

Hi....well to redo all templates and workspaces....that would take some time and just to fix the look of the start screen would not be worth it to me.
If you have a backup of NT saved can you plug that into a new install so you do not have to redo everything ??
Have you guys run 2 monitors without this minor start screen issue showing ??
Thanks for your time on this...

Hello Alfred,
Yes, myself and majority of our customers run multiple monitors with no issues at all.
Yes, you may create a backup and restore after the clean installation. The only thing that will not be backed up will be ATM Strategies.
I have provided links below that go over how to create a Backup and how to perform a Restore.
Backup:
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/CreatingABackupArchive.html
Restore:
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/RestoringABackupArchive.html
During the uninstallation process please do not delete your Backup folder.
Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Alfred,
I just went to Nvidia two screens this week and you definitely had a screen setup issue.
It is not an NT issue.
