sendmail smtp problem "fix"

I have been looking around for a Free Pop3 email and found that Yahoo Mail provides POP3 access for Yahoo Mail Plus! user that work with Ninjatrader. The Mail Plus costs however. BUT Yahoo Mail Singapore and Hong Kong is providing Free Yahoo POP3 email account. I’ve registered a Free Yahoo POP3 Email account at Yahoo Mail Singapore.

- Go to YahooMail SG and click on Sign Up. Just go thru the registration process, and get your Free Yahoo Email account

- To get the Free Yahoo POP3 Email access, you need to signup their Yahoo Delivers services at http://subscribe.yahoo.com/deliver?.redir_from=REGISTRATION

- Once you have subscribed to Yahoo Deliver service, Login into your Yahoo Email and Go to “Option” -> “POP Access & Forwarding“, Select “Web & POP Access” and save.

To set it up in NT:

Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com.sg
Port: 587 (don´t use the recommended on 465 since it reqires SSL)
User : your mail ex johndoe@yahoo.com.sg
Password: your mail login password

I followed Avanza's directions and managed to get an email through to NT.

this is ridiculous. why can't NT just support SSL? SSL email is becoming a standard...
