Is there any way to properly specify commisions for ecn based curreny brokers like MBT and IB? Take MBT for example they charge $5 per USD 100000 traded. For a pair like USDJPY where USD is the base currency this works fine, but for something like EURUSD if you buy 100000 and the rate is 1.4000 your buying USD 140000 and your commission will be $7 instead of $5.

Hello Darckeen,

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately all commissions are done in $US and this cannot be changed.

Well is there anyway to adjust the commision cost within a strategy similar to the way you can adjust Slippage within a strategy?

Unfortunately that is not supported.

You can set individual instrument commissions that override your global commission settings. More information here: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/EditingInstruments.html
