NT6: chart properties - session start/end has bug ?

Hi,

I noticed that in NT6 (build10) chart properties, I cannot change to every session that I want.
For example, if I select session start=1:00am, session end=1:00am the chart is empty. Also some other combinations seem to have this problem.

Problem seems to happen when session end is past midnight.
Since I live in Asia, 16:00EST = 5:00AM for me, so this is a bit of a problem for me...

We do not support sessions that span across a calendar day which is what you are trying to do. If you set yours from 1 AM to 1 AM, then you really want a 24 hour chart, so just set it from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM.

In that case I have issues with ExitOnClose, since 12:00am local time (Taiwan) is somewhere in the middle of the New York session.
I can probably program around it, but need to see if there are other side effects...

Btw: is the used time linked to the datafeed (in my case IB) or the PC clock? Is there a way to give myself a timeshift?

Time is based on local PC time.

The workaround I can think of at this time is to set your PC time to US EST time.

OK, for methe problem is solved then :)
I have a dedicated trading PC anyway. I'll probably set its clockto CET, then I can treat it from Tokyo open up to USA close as one big session.

But anyway, you might want to consider 'fixing' this in the future, since some people in Asia can run into trouble (not everybody want to change their PC clock) and I guess some people in the USA might also have problems is they want to treat Tokyo open to USA close as one big session (forex traders!)
