Hi,

I have a primary connection to ZenFire, and I have a secondary connection to IB.

I'm pulling NYSE-TICK data from IB, but using ZenFire for other data feeds ES, ZB, TF, etc....

My problem is, while I'm pulling the NYSE-TICK from IB (and I know this is working b/c I see the TICK updating in market analyzer window) I'm not able to chart the NYSE-TICK. I was previously able to do this when only using IB as a connection, but now that I have two connections, the charts are somehow confused as to what data connection to use for the NYSE-TICK.

It appers to also be affecting my stratgies.

FYI, the ^TICK filed for ZenFire is blank.

Any ideas?

Brian

Hello Brian,

Thank you for your post.

1.) Just to verify, when you connect to IB only, the ^TICK chart works fine?

2.) Have you tried connecting to IB first and Zen-Fire second? Does that make a difference?

Yea... IB only works fine.

I haven't tried IB first, maybe I'll do that tonight. But I don't' really want that long-term b/c I only want to use IB for TICK, and ZenFire for all other real-time data.

I have it working on another virtual machine I'm using for testing... the only thing I did there was disable historical data on Zen Fire.

I'll try it again on my production machine after the market closes... but... I'll bet that fixes it. If so, it might be a bug...
