Chart Scale Question

Hi..

In NT 6.0...has the ability to scruntch up tick or second charts to show more bars per window with the control up/down arrows changed from NT 5 ?...it seems (from an old dogs memory anyway) that you cannot scruntch up the tick charts as much in 6 as in 5...I have the bar width set to 1...

Strange,I thought w V6 you can actually get more bars on a chart since we introduced the new x-axis bar spacing/zooming.

When I have say an 8 tick bar chart up in NT 6 now (OHLC) and scruntch as much as possible...it just does not look as dense as it seemed to be possible to scruntch too in NT 5...I do not have 5 running now though so cannot check...& when compared to a TradeStation 8 tick chartNT 6cannot be madenearly as dense as the maximum density on the TS chart....I usually stack these two charts as I can place some particular graphics on the TS chart......

You have to go to a 16 bar tick chart in NT 6 to get the same horizontal graphic time scale as in a TradeStation 8 tick bar chart and with the 16 bar chartyou loose pattern definition....Can email you a screen shot of the two if you like...
