Hi All,

I'm running NT6.5 connected to a ZenFire feed with open charts for 9 different instruments.

The maximum uptime I have managed so far without NT crashing is just over 30 hours. Every time it bombs out with the following error message:

.NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.3082 - Fatal Execution Engine Error (7A0F3E93) (800703e9)

One of those typically helpful 'something went wrong' exception messages that Microsoft are famous for.

Anyone else experienced this and have any tips, before I resign the rest of my day to trawling the web for clues?

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, which NinjaTrader version are you running? You can check this under Help > About.

Is this a 32 or 64 bit OS setup you're running?

I would try reworking the .NET installation - for 3.5 you can use this link -

After this check Windows Update for the SP1 for .NET 3.5

After this check Windows Update for the SP1 for .NET 3.5

The build is v6.5.1000.10 and the OS is a 32 bit install of Windows 2003 Server.

Thanks, then I would suggest reworking the .NET installation.

You think the .NET 3.5 install on the box is causing problems?

Yes ScoobyStoo.

Yes ScoobyStoo.

Hmmm, well it's already patched up with SP1 and the latest hotfixes.

What's the suspected problem? .NET framework installs should operate fine in side-by-side mode and I've never had a problem with them clashing before as long as applications target the correct framework.

Could expand a little on your thinking please?

ScoobyStoo, unfortunately we've seen a good number of cases where the .NET framework got corrupted and issues could be resolved with uninstalling / reinstalling it fresh.

OK, thanks Bertrand. I'm going to uninstall the v1.1, v3.0 and v3.5 frameworks and I'll reinstall v2.0.

Please uninstall from the top down...so freshest first...3.5 should be sufficient as it includes the 2.0 one.
