My question is about the ATM feature. Basically I am say long 4 contracts with a profit target on just 2 contracts only. All four contracts have a stop loss. I would like to close out the remaining 2 contracts with perhaps a limit order provided ofcourse they have not been stopped out. Once I am running the strategy, NT won't let me place a limit order to close out my remaining contracts. Is there a way around this?
Thank you

Hello rally7:
Thank you for your post.
When I test in sim mode, I am able to flatten the trade by submitting a limit order.
Are you submitting this strategy in sim mode or live mode? Can you provide the exact steps so I may attempt to reproduce.
You may want to submit a stop limit order for the remaining contracts instead of a limit order.

Hi Ryan,
I am sim mode. Do I have to exit out of the active ATM strategy and select none under the drop down box? What I did is create a simple ATM strategy.
1 target, Qty 2, Stop loss 5, target 10,
2 target, Qty 2 Stop loss 5
Using the Chart trader, I bought 4 YM at the market, hit my profit target on 2 contracts. Still long 2 and would like to now place a limit order above the market to close out my position. On the chart trader it now shows me still long 2 and now the stop order is changed to 2 contracts as it should. But when I attempt to place a limit order to sell the remaining 2 I get the message " You can't submit an exit order to a strategy yntill any of its entry orders has been filled.

Hello rally7:
Keep your working strategy in the ATM dropdown field. Do not change this back to 'None'.
Then, you should be able to place the limit order to fill the remaining 2 contracts in your position. Otherwise, try placing a stop limit order instead of a limit order.
Let me know if this works.
