I am trying to open NT with a DTN IQ feed and receive the following error message.

Then NT completely shuts down.

Is anyone else experiencing this with the new Microsoft Vista software?

Are you running as ADMIN on your Vista PC?

Sorry. I am completely new to Vista - can you explain where I can find if I am running as administrator?

You will have to wait until tomorrow. I am not in the office where my Vista PC is at.

When you first start your PC and the logon screen shows up, underneath your login name it would say "Administrator"

Checked I am not running as administrator.

Also since your last post I changed all security settings to allow full access, and tried using the Vista compatibility wizard to run NT in various older versions.

Still works with Patsystem but NT crashes with DTNIq feed.

I have requested help from DTN as well as Ninja support.

Several things -

1) Please run the latest NT6 Beta 9
2) Please run as Adminstator on your Vista machine. When NOT running as Administrator, I have also seen run time errors like the one you reported. At this time, I have no idea what causes that but what I have determined is when you run as Administator, the problem does not seem to exist

Please explain how to run as administrator.

It is very confusing how to switch in Vista - I tried user account controls and it did not help.

I have opened a new administrator profile and was able to access NT 6.09with DTNIQ.

Thanks for the help Ray.
