Email functions don't apear to work

NT 6.9 Help/Send support email does not work.
Neither do the strategy actions.
Did a net trace and it looks like the email server is down?
Also ..what if I want to use another email server .. like my own perhaps.?
How would one configure that?

And it also hangs NT6 .. have to kill and restart

Our email server is up and running.
You can zip and mail trace files (<my documents>\trace) and log files (<my documents>\log) manually and attach to mail which you can send to "support AT ninjatrader DOT com".

I don't have anything to send
was just testing the email function.

Reason was.. I was testing strategies with email actions, and they didn't seem to work.

Can you verify you can send email from your NT 6 008 or 9 system.

I still think there is something wrong with your servers.

I tried two different machines, neither could contact your email servers.
I'm an network engineer by trade, so I put a packet sniffer on my raw internet connection .. ie, on the internet side of any firewalls .. Just to be sure it wasn't a firewall problem.

I've attached the trace files, plus the NT error file.
The trace files clearly show that your email server does not respond
