How to Start a ATM strategy

Hi,
I purchased a 3rd party strategy to test on the sim account, and when I add it to a chart it shows it is running, but I do not get any trades executed. What else is necessary to activate a strategy ?

In the Control Center, please navigate to the Strategies tab.
Is the strategies name outlined in green?

Hi Kyle,
Yes it is green. It also says stop on the button on the right. I am confused since I assumed it would generate a trade on a chart I added it to. I want to test this ATM on a sim account before I try it on a live account. Any ideas ?

The strategy is running. You will need to consult the vendor's Help Guide as to how/when the strategy will take trades.

Hi Kyle,
I was informed by the 3rd party that I must name the strategy in the DOME
I could not find a way to do that since in a sim account it only shows strategys as custom or none. Do I save a custom strategy as the name I want and it will then engage ?

You can save a ATM strategy template and name it to your liking. Please see the link below for instructions and more information.

Once you saved the ATM strategy, you can select it from the ATM strategy drop down menu.

Thanks for the help. I have contacted the 3rd party writer of the ATM script and he says I need to contact Ninja Trader. I keep getting bounced back and forth I guess. How do I troubleshoot a 3rd party ATM script I purchased for Ninja Trader ? I have added the strategy to my chart, and I have saved a ATM Template in the Static DOM with the same name. When I click on the Control Tab for the ATM It shows green, and is running. When the signal fires I do not get a execution in the static dom. Any ideas how to tell why this is not working ?
