Is it possible to use Ninjatrader with an Advisor IB Account?

Hi,

Yes, you can use Advisor accounts, but we are not compatible with allocation accounts.

So, when executing an order from within Ninjatrader for an advisor account the order gets executed for:

1. All underlying accounts? (evenly/mirrored)

2. The account(s) specified within the order?

3. A local Ninjatrader allocation strategy?

Please forgive my newb question, I am a total newb with Ninjatrader.

When you place in order in the account, the order will be send to all underlying account and then you need to open up multiple DOM's to manage each account individually.

Ok, I understand that. I must admit I was hoping for a more convinient solution. Having 10+ DOMs open is not really a viableoption.

What about automatic orders coming from an external source such as Neoticker through the Ninjatrader DLL interface? Is it possible to manage orders for underlying accounts this way? In other words is it possible to issue an order through the DLL interface destinated to a specific underlying account within the Advisor account? And equally important, is it possible to trace open position P&L etc for each account/order seperately?

Lastly, if the above is not possible now, do you plan on suporting it in the future?

Thank you.

If IB handles the sub accounts as individual accounts, then you should be able to do this.
