Hello thehaul,
Thank you for your post.
Depending on your data provider, you may be able to reload historical data by right clicking in the chart and selecting that option.

Hi thehaul,
Thank you for your reply.
Please ensure both instruments are listed in the default instrument list. Select the instruments from the default instrument list in the Merge window and see if the issue persists.

So I did what you said and the problem persists. The attached images should explain a little.

Hello thehaul,
We will need to do some testing on our end.
You can expect a response back tomorrow.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello thehaul,
This can be as expected, since there are too many ticks used for the merging period.
You will need to merge the data in multiple steps from the most recent to the past. Try periods of 1 month.

Is there any need to merge the current contract with the ###### contract? I assume Iq's #### contract is a continuous..?? So there's no need. Right?

Correct, if you have access to continuous data with IQFeed, you can create an ES ##-## instrument in the Instrument Manager.
