Hi, I maintain a database of continuous daily data (over 100 futures markets) which I would like to use in NT for backtesting/charting purposes.

I can import the data under unique symbols i create in NT (to avoid connection to live datafeeds), but I want it updated daily.

Is there a way that I can 'connect' to my database (which updates/backadjusts) rather tahn re-import the entire data file each day? Is this what the 'external data feed' is designed for? I can't seem to find much written about it in the help/support sections.

thanks

Unfortunately there is no way to automate the import function from with NinjaTrader. However, if you write a program to automate the generation of these daily file updates, you can select multiple files for import within the Import dialogue window when importing files.

Primarily for use with eSignal Market Replay, TradeStation data feeds.
