Importing Data

I am trying to import tick data for ES generated by latest version of NT.
I go Tool > Historical Data> Import - find the file, it shows it identifies the contract and date(25th Feb) correctly. But when I try to load the data in market replay, the day (25th Feb) is not there. How do I run imported data?

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately Market Replay data does NOT work with regular historical data, it has to be recorded live in NinjaTrader.

Market Replay works if you have recorded market replay data. You can enable the recorded by following the instructions below.

From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
Go to the "Data" tab
Enable "Run market replay recorder"
Press the "OK" buttonWith the recorder enabled, NinjaTrader will record all level I and level II data while you are connected. This data will then be available to replay at a later date via the menu File > Connect > Market Replay Connection.

There is no way to import market replay data?

You can only import recorded files that have been recorded in NinjaTrader, like from another NinjaTrader user for example.
You can create a backup of Market Replay data to transfer and restore.
