View Full Version : Market Replay won't connect after power outage

Hi,

My machine just went down due to a power outage. When the power returned and I booted NT everything looks fine. Except when I try to connect to the market replay for today or a day last week I get the following error in the log:

Cbi.Connection.ProcessEventArgs.ConnectionStatusEv entArgs.Recover/Reset: Not a valid bookmark.

Down the bottom left of the control center it says connected market replay but the controls for the replay don't appear.

I was using the replay when the power went down.

Any ideas on how to solve the problem.

Hello TiP2012,

I suggest to delete the workspace that is opened when you connect to the Market Replay and the Market Replay control does not appear.

Close NinjaTrader and go to My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->workspaces and delete the workspace file.

Start NinjaTrader and connect to the Market Replay and check if the issue persists.

Ok, closed all the charts in the workspace whilst connected to not working replay. Then closed NT and deleted the workspace and also the default workspace.

Reopened NT and the problem is still there.

Try repairing the database and check if this will make a difference. Go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Repair DB.

If the error persists, please send me the market replay data for the two dates that produce the error. You can find the data at My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->db-->data.

Send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, reference this thread and put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header.

I will test the data on my end to see if I can reproduce the error. If so, most likely the data is corrupted due to the power outage.
