Options Misc Flatten

Running NT 6 beta 6.

I had 3 simulated trades on at 4:40 PM EST today and thought I'd enable the Flatten feature in the Options|Misc|Flatten tab to close all my open trades at 4:59 PM (one min before the markets close for the weekend). I was expecting NT to automatically flatten all my open positions at 4:59 PM; however, when I clicked the OK button in the Options window, NT immediately closed ALL three of my open positions. Is my interpretation correct of how this feature is supposed to work or is there a bug in the software that caused my positions to be closed immediately after enabling the Auto Flatten feature?

Thank you for your post.

Are you able to re-produce?

I tested on my computer and the Flatten function executed properly when I tested. It did not flatten when I pushed 'OK', it flattened my open positions at the time I specified. Also, did you have 'Flatten All' checkmarked?

Lastly, take a look at the Log tab, if working properly, there should be an item that states:

'Flatten account='Sim101' (or your live account if enabled).

Well, since the market is now closed, I can not reproduce it now.

I DID have Flatten All checked.

I looked at the log and I DID see the entries you specified ("Flatten account..."). 16:36 is the time I must have clicked the OK button.
