Hi,

Is it possible to have trades displayed on charts for any templateI choose? I mean, suppose I traded using one of my templates, but later on I would like to examine the very same trades on the same chart, but with a a different template.

Would something like that be possible? I tried to do something like that, but I don't think I succeeded, but perhaps this is possible. If so, please let me know how todo this. It would be very useful, in my opinion, in that it would help to select optimal templates.

Anyway, I would appreciate your answers. I am using NT 5 (sim).

Thanks,

TT

Yes, this is possible. The property that controls execution plots can be set via the chart Properties Dialogue window. As long as your templates have this property set to either Text or Text and Markers you will be fine.

Thanks for your reply. I found something called Plot executions under General in the Properties Dialogue window and I gather this is what you refer to. I set it to Text and Markers because Text was not available (I am using NT5).

Before it was set to Markers Only. Is this the reason why I could not get trades plotted in different templates?

Thanks,

Correct, different templates may have this property set differently.
