NT + Ameritrade - Instrument List Maximum Symbols ?

Is there a limit to the amount of symbols that can be define in an Instrument List?

I'm interested in using Ninja Trader with TD Ameritrade as my broker / data provider.

The TD Ameritrade API has a limit of 600 symbol subscription per account.

Does this restriction appy to Ninja Trader using TD Ameritrade?

How does NT behave if you define an Instrument List greater than 600 symbols?

Please share your experiences of this scenerio if you use NT + TDA.

Hi Christopher, NinjaTrader does not impose a limit on how many symbols you can use or receive. Of course this depends also on your local system and setup. You can check our connection guides for individual considerations - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_connectionguides.htm

On top of that, you might want to check with the dataproviders you intend to use individually to make sure you get what you need.
