How to get 1 year of daily data, not just 3 months.

IB daily data now displays in NT6... but it only displays 3 months. IB says they have 365 days of historical data and I can see those dates go by as it downloads. Still NT6 does not display the entire year.

I imagine that NT is displaying only the current contract or whatever.

Please advise on how to get NT chart to display the entire year's data.



Also, can NT6 now use the lates TWS 866 ?

NT does not filter out data on downlaoding from IB. If you don't get enough data, the likely does not provide more data.

- Which instrument is this?
- I suggest trying a popular stock like MSFT to confirm.

ER2, ES, NQ, YM

As I said, one can see the downloading of the data for the full year, but only 3 months is displayed.



When I ask for a stock, nothing displays and have to hit abort button to go on.

Please try to download ER2 daily data in IB native chart and see how far back data is provided.

You are right, IB chart only gives 3 months... I beleive they were setting up a seperate server with seperate adress for downloading historical data... But don't know how, and frankly when dealing with them I feel like a an army private in the book Catch 21
