View Full Version : Able to connect but unable to receive any data

I'm primarily using the Zen-Fire demo from Mirus Futures, but I've experienced this same problem with the Yahoo data feeds.

I am able to connect to Zen-Fire fine. But after connecting I can't receive any data. Here are some things I've tried to fix this:

-Getting a whole new demo account from Zen-Fire
-Removing my demo account from NT, and re-adding the account and manually entering the login details (tried this multiple times)
-Repairing and resetting the NT database.
-Deleting the NT database file in the NT directory
-Restarting my computer
-Checking for any firewalls (NT is an allowed connection under Windows Firewall)
-Re-installing NT

I've tried all these and a few different combinations of various fixes I've read on the forum before posting this.

I HAVE had this demo feed working previously. I can't think of any recent changes on my computer that would cause NT to stop working, but at some point in the past few weeks it did.

Any ideas? I feel like I've tried everything.

Something obvious you didn't mentioned was that there was a roll over in futures contract, have you added the new contracts with the Instrument manager? Apparently you haven't used NT for a few weeks.

In addition, some futures contracts do not have historical data.
