Hi, when I start ninjatrader and connect it to my IB TWS I see the "Max numebr of tickers ..."101 Error in my ninja log. I don't understand the reason, because I have only 4 or 5 symbol in my TWS.

Coudl this cause any problem to the execution of the orders from my TS8 strategy?

Anyone had the same problems or know what could be the reason?

Hi Cam,

With IB you can have only a maximum of 3 datafeed streams. If you have 4 or more it will give you this message. You need to use only 3 different contracts.

To clarify: Vin's statement is true for market depth data. Do you have more than 3 DOMs open with IB?

I don't use IB for getting data, but only to submit orders from TradeStation email interface to IB. I don't have any particular window opened, and I disabled also the market depth feature, but I get always that message the first time I start Ninja Trader as Iconnect it to IB. But I have noticed that if I disconenct IB (so Ninja trader closes IB application) and then I reconnect I don't have that message any more.Anyway am I correct if I suppose that I will have no trouble with order execution from TradeStation to IB?

Correct, should not be an issue at all.
