Iamrunning strategies with Tradestation 8.1 through NT to Forex.com and suddenly GBPUSD currency pair buy/sell signals were rejected because they were received as "stock"... tried restartign and resetting everything with no luck; EURUSD, AUDUSD and USDJPY (see below) signals work fine...
When trading the USDJPY pair the profits/losses in thousands of Yen are posted as is they were thousands of US dollars resulting in huge account moves
I contacted Dan and he recommended posting in the forum.
Anybody has any ideas as to why this is happening and how to fix it?
Tks, Pepe

Thanks.
Can you doa quick check for me?
Tools > Instrument Manager select GBPUSD and let me know if the typeof instrument is set to currency or stock?
Also, on the PnL, NT5 does not calculate PnL correctly on non USD pairs. This is changed for NT6.

GBPUSD is set to currency - it was working fine yesterday afternoon, and then all of a sudden it stopped... the only thing that happened was that I walked away from the computer for a while and the screen saver came on - I have my machine running full time, standby disabled, can't see how thescreen saver would mess up only the GBPUSD signal ???
I have NT5 with Forex.com demo but the license key will not work when I ry to download NT6...

Demo key will not work for NT6, need to be an account holder or subscriber.
Can you reboot, restart NT and TS, try run a GBPUSD strategy and let me know if the issue persists.
Thank you.

Already tried that, a couple of times and nothing.
Even deleted workspace in TS and created new one and nothing.
Like I said, other currency pairs work fine...

I just tested on my end and all worked as you expect. I am guessing there is some setting in your instrument databasethatis not correct.
Try this, shut down NT, delete the following file, restart and try again. This process resets the databaseto a fresh factory install.
C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 5\db\ninjatrader.mdb
