Pivots Indicator

Hi,
I'm plotting the Pivots indicator on my chart and was wondering why the values for the Pivot, Resistance, and Support lines vary to a small degree, depending upon the time interval plotted. For example:

AUDUSD, 12/1/2006

15 MIN 60 MIN
R20.7945 0.7942
R1 0.7920 0.7921
PP 0.7882 0.7883
S1 0.7857 0.7862
S2 0.7819 0.7824

There's a bug in the pivots (and Woodie's pivots) calculations which will be resolved with next beta of NT6 (NT6B3).

You can workaround this bug by settings "Session end" properties to something different than "00:00" or "12:00 AM".

I changed the "Session Ends" to 11:59PM but I get the same values as I cite in my previous message.

I'm trying this on Sunday at 11AM (i.e. markets are closed). Will this have an effect on the calculated Pivot values?

Sorry, I should have been more clear: You need to set "Session end" to a value "outside" the last bar to make sure there is no bar with timestamp "00:00" (or "12:00 AM"), e.g. "11:45 PM" for your 15 min series.

so, if I use 5 and 15 min bars, I should set the Session Ends values to 11:55 PM (for 5 min)and 11:45 PM (for 15 min) - correct?

Correct. Just make sure you don't have a bar with timestamp "00:00" or "12:00 AM".

Ok, here's what I'm getting for Pivot values in NT6 beta 2:

So, much better. I'll look forward to beta 3 coming out - any idea when?
