View Full Version : Sim StopLimit w/ StopMarket OCO entry?
Wish to enter Sim StopLimit w/ StopMarket (as backup) as OCO.
Currently I have to toggle SuperDom preferencesbetween orders to accomplish.
Surely there is a better way.

Hello Json:
If you have an open position without a strategy, you need to add a limit and stop order to protectthe position.
- Set strategy to <none>
- right click in the DOM and enableOCO order
- Then place a limit order where you want to exit at a profit
- Then place a stop order where you want to exit at a loss
- Then right click again and disableOCO order
The reason why you need to disable theOCO after the order entry is because theorders are grouped then and every order placed afterwards will not be part of that group.
Thanks,
Ryan
Ryan,
I like to use Sim StopLimits to exit losers. Since these aremonitored locally and at times unexecuted duringa fast move, I need a native StopMarket resting on the exchange server as a backup.
This is why I asked how to place a Sim StopLimit AND StopMarket as OCO.
The setting I now have to toggle is SuperDom Properties-->Middle mouse button is stop market True/false

Json,
There is no other option apart from the process you currently use.
