Is there a way when in the market on a strategy order to have the target behave like a market order e.g. market if touched?

Hi Gary,

We don't have MIT orders, but we have something similar which we call Chase If Touched. More info can be found here:

Is this coming in v6?

Thanks

Chase If Touched is already available in V5. We have no plans of adding MIT since we have CIT.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't CIT a limit order? If so it would be beneficial to have MIT.

That is correct. MIT is on our list for future enhancement consideration.

I'm another customer hoping for MIT to become available.

I don't see anything in the docs on this, so I am assuming it has not been implemented yet.

Is this still on the list of things that will be added, or should I work on new ideas?

Thanks,

from what I understand, chase if touched is the closest thing to MIT, correct? I do really like the chase if touched feature however IMO it's quite different since the key element of a MIT order is the "at the market" portion which the chase feature doesn't have since it's a limit entry.

or is there some way to use the chase feature (or other option) to get an actual market if touched order ? thanks

Unfortunately there are no workarounds I am aware of to get the MIT effect at the moment.

OK, thanks for the reply. Ninja support please mark me down also as a user who would like to see the basic MIT option in the future. Thanks.

Dreaming of getting MIT implemented. Any news on this for the next release?
