Hi!

If I understand this correctly, cancellation of the other order in OCO or Close in Time orders or trailing stops and such require constant connection to the respected data source, disconnection would mean no cancellation of OCO or trailing stops would be freezed at the last point where they were before disconnection. Is that correct?

I understand these orders are not exchange-supported but maybe they sit on some middleman server which controls that.. so that's why I'm asking.

Thanks!

All NinjaTrader automated functions are managed on your local PC. If disconnceted, they stop working. The orders continue to work if they are at the exchange. This varies from exchange/FCM/Broker combination. The way to know for sure is check the status of your orders in the control panel, if they are "working" then they are at the exchange and will continue to work on disconnect.

OCO depends on the broker/technology. Who do you trade through?

OCO is locally simulated on your PC. If you connection is down, any orders tiedvia OCO will not cancel out if one is filled.
