Middle mouse button and stop orders

My mouse is Logitech cordless. The middle button is a scroll wheel. When pressed, it doesn't create a stoporder. Do I need to buy a different mouse, or am I doing something wrong?

In the mouse set up software, assign middle click to the wheel mouse click.
