eSignal Playback not allowing DOM and strategies

First time user. eSig playback files connect and work in Control center. Now I want to apply several strategies, and don't see how. If I bring up static DOM, it is greyed out and does not show prices changing (no prices at all).

Suggestions??

For clarification:

1) You are able to connect and receive market data for eSignal playback in the Control Center window, Ordertab ?

2) If yes, which instrument?

3) When you open the static DOM, what is grayed out?
