I've been devloping daytrading strategies on my copie of TS version 4, build 26 update

I've got an IB account

I'd like to know if I can use Ninjatrader as interface to:

a) use my IB account as datafeed for TS version 4, intraday and historical data
b) convert my backtesting strategies into automated trading trading strategies


I am the expense of a current version of TS, at least until I have proven my strategies

a) No this is not possible
b) Capabilitiesto automate trading through NinjaTrader can be found here http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuide/Overview.html

thank you for your answer. I find myself obliged to ask as to what, exactly, can NT do. As an IB (and QuoteTracker) user, in what manner could it serve me.

The following statement, can you explain it?:

"Coming soon ... full native automated systems using Ninjatrader"

I can't answer what NT can do for you without understanding what it is you are try to solve. Our website is a great resource for explaining the featuresand capabilities of our application. www.ninjatrader.com (http://www.ninjatrader.com). "Native automated trading systems" means that with our upcoming release, you can develop, backtest and execute customprogrammed automated trading systems in NinjaTrader using NinjaScript.

Am I to understand that NT will be able to do backtesting and automated trading through IB without any other software.

Or will it be necessary to have a charting or backtrading software like TS?

When will the new version of NT become available?

Yes that is correct. We will have it later this fall 06 with beta in a month or so for current subscribers.
