Multiple instances of same position strategy in one DOM

Iam having trouble with adding a second duplicate position strategy with the same instrument in one DOM. What happens is that I get a partial fill on the first instance of the position strategy and then I want to add to the position on a pullback. What I have tried to do is enter a second position with the same strategy but funny things happen.

Let's say it is two Ym contracts. I get a fill on my first target and I want to then to duplicate the trade (enter an order for the exact same position strategy). What is happening is that I am getting 1 more contract not 2 as one would think from the position strategy.

Does this make sense? I am not sure how to make this happen?

Yes this makes sense. You are not creating new strategy, you are adding an order to scale into the existing strategy. To create a new strategy, click on the top center button and press New PositionStrategy, then enter your order.

This is NinjaTrader Version 4, not Version 5 or Version 6.

How then do I add a new position that does not modify or add to the original stops and targets when a prior strategy is in place...?

Depending on what is selected in the strategy drop down list determines how new positions are managed.

I do not get this "apply fills" menu item in my strategies tab...Is this because I am runnig in simulator mode...?
