V3 Installation Guide

FIRST TIME VERSION 4 INSTALLATIONS

Either Windows XP or 2000 is required

1) Install the Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 or greater Download
2) Ensure you have the latest MS Jet Database Engine
3) Ensure you have the latest V2.8 MDAC (MS Data Access Components) Download
4) Install NinjaTrader Version 4.XX Download
5) Check any broker specific requirements below

Interactive Brokers Account Holders
DO NOT use TWS version 826.XX or 827.XX (these versions are bug ridden)

MB Trading Account Holders
Must use MB Trading Navigator 10.10 Revision 2 or higher

Patsystems Account Holders
Your broker or clearing firm must support NinjaTrader. Check the list of broker partners to see if your broker supports NinjaTrader or contact your broker directly if their name is not on the list.

UPGRADING FROM A CURRENT NINJATRADER VERSION 4 RELEAS

Just run the installer.

UPGRADING FROM NINJATRADER VERSION 3 OR EARLIER

NinjaTrader Version 3 data is not compatible with NinjaTrader Version 4. You can run both NinjaTrader Version 3 and Version 4 simultaneously. Please follow the instructions above for proper installation.
