NinjaTrader’s Advanced Trade Management (ATM) technology empowers the trader with unparalleled order management capabilities, utilizing pre-defined strategy templates which allow you to implement rules and conditions for managing your trades. In this session, we will provide a detailed review of ATM functionality and set-up including, but not limited to:
- Creating several ATM Strategies of varying complexity
- Working with multiple targets and stops
- Scaling into and out of an active ATM Strategy
- Automated stop loss and profit target order submission
- Automatic OCO (One cancels other) orders and intelligent strategies
- Intelligent automatic trailing stops
- Automatic breakeven stops
- Manual OCO (One cancels other) orders combined with ATM Strategies
- Preview of ATM Level II material:
- Volume-based simulated stop loss orders
- Automatic order chase on entry and profit target orders
- Automatic reversals
- Strategy Selection Modes
Plan to attend this session if you want to fully understand NinjaTrader's ATM technology and how to correctly set up and deploy trade profit protection strategies. As a pre-requisite you should have attended the SuperDOM Basics training session and have reviewed the online help guide section of NinjaTrader's ATM technology.
ATM was designed to eliminate much of the emotional aspect of trading while in a position. Pre-defined strategies allow for multiple protective orders to be submitted simultaneously after entering a position in the market. This order automation allows you to focus on your trade while your orders are working and updating per your per-defined parameters. Please take the time to get acquainted and understand this powerful mechanism for position management. After completing the Advanced Trade Management Level 1 training session, you will:
- Know how to create and manage trade management strategy templates
- Know how to submit orders that initiate trade management strategies
- Know how to set up and initiate automatic trailing stops
