About the Presenter

Joel Parker is in his 17th year as an electronic trader and 9th year as an educator. He is known as one of the foremost authorities on reading tape, an almost dying art in an age where everyone seems frustrated with lagging indicators. As a price action trader, he prefers to keep things clean and simple, and teaches his students how to use the tape to understand and profit from what is really happening in the market. His style is well-suited to the futures market, and is also easily adapted to equities or any other market which provides time and sales data. While not necessarily helpful to swing traders, it is very effective for scalpers and short-term intraday traders.
